My Thanksgiving Meal Prep isn’t as conventional as most. We don’t do Turkey…. However a very powerful half stays. We Rejoice a Day of giving thanks for all that we now have and spend the day along with family members.
Blissful Thanksgiving from our household to yours!
? Thanksgiving Menu Plan ?
Pomegranate Glazed Duck
Pumpkin/ Butternut Squash Pie
Hasselback Potatoes
Balsamic mushrooms
Sautéed corn
Candied candy potatoes
Asparagus with mustard French dressing
Desert:
Pecan Pie
Cranberry Crisp
Recipes:
? Roasted Duck:
S/P
Garlic powder
Paprika
Consommé
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup pomegranate sauce/syrup
Tbsp oil
Stuff with apples, oranges and celery.
Bake @400 lined for 45 minutes then uncover for extra 45 minutes till Golden brown.
Asparagus with Mustard French dressing:
1 pound asparagus
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp lemon Juice
2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
2 Tsp Sugar
1/3 Cup Avocado oil/ olive oil
Dill
Parsley
Scallion
S/P
Pecan
Apple berry crisp recipe:
Preheat oven to 350 deg…
3-4 apples cubes
1 cup cranberry and/or berry of your alternative
2-3 tbspn of sugar
1/2 lemon ? squeezed
Add 1 tbspn of flour
Combine every part collectively and put in 9 x 13 pan or in 9 in pie pan.
Topping:
1 cup of flour
1 cup of quaint oats
1/2 c of sugar or brown sugar
Pinch of salt
Non-compulsory Add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts ideally pecans or walnuts
9 tablespoons of avocado ? oil
Combine every part collectively till crumbs hey extra mixed and sprinkle throughout filling!
Bake for 45 min to an Hr or till golden.
Butternut Squash Pie:
Pre- made pie crust/ Graham Cracker Crust
12-16 oz of cooked butternut squash
1 cup vanilla soy milk or non-dairy creamer
splash of canola oil (or not)
3 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup packed mild brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
some cinnamon (to combine into the batter and to sprinkle on high)
